Do you know what Spirit in Motion represents? Well Let me tell you it’s the Motto for the Paralympic games which start in a few days, I for one as are my boys very excited about this, not only because we are going to see it but because we Love the dedication and also the hurdles most have to overcome to get there, I’m not saying the Athletes who compete in the Olympics don’t have both, but most disabled have a lot more hurdles, not just physical but mentally also.

Today we had the Privilege of Meeting Lizzie Simpkin a young lady who competed at the age of 14 at Beijing, what a lovely young lady she was to, nothing was to much trouble for her with all the children wanting photos and also everyone wanting to talk to her, This year sadly she is competing but we hope she continues and aims for Rio.

Lizzie is the Ambassador for the Lantern in this region and brought it to the place she trained, also where Little Man has gained such confidence in the past few months due to the wonderful people who are there, We could not miss this opportunity.

The Vision for the Paralympic Games is
‘To enable Paralympic athletes to achieve sporting excellence and to inspire and excite the world.’
Are you inspired yet?

Lovely pictures. I hope you have fun watching x
The Paralympics are so inspiring because of the adversity that the competitors face everyday. We’ve just come back from seeing the flame lighting ceremony in Cardiff, and it was brilliant!
