The Southport Flower Show, one of the best Gardening Shows in the country, I love it and try to go every year, this year I was amazed and delighted to receive a message offering the family 2 tickets (children go free already) so of course I grabbed the chance to spend the whole day there.
I was excited, more so when I received them and got the programme also, how would I spend the day? The new Food Avenue, oh Yes I would be there, Jay Tinker, Lisa Allen, Simon Rimmer, Brian Mellor, Oh I was in my element.

Then you had all the beautiful gardens, Little man loved the Rovers return garden, I loved the amateur gardeners tent, with some amazing flower displays, large small and miniature, the amazing array of fruit and veg of massive proportions. Not forgetting the displays inside the tents.

I hope that the video shows the whole range of the day out and I thank Southport Flower Show for giving us complimentary tickets, my legs have now recovered

Ah Southport. I used to come to England to learn English in the summer when I was a kid and Southport was the town where I stayed for a month the first year

I love your video, gives a really good feel for the day. We used to do the Hampton Court flower show many years ago when we lived in Surrey, your video reminds me so much of these days. Sailing photos are great too, I take it that was an unrelated event? Loving the outdoor time and well worth the wait to see that video!
