We received this Scooter at the end of October last year, Little man was so excited about it, I have been very slow on this review due to lots of reasons but not making excuses and here it is
Its not like any you get on the high street, this has a completely different steering and is great to help all children learn a little co-ordination and they have to learn right and left in order to turn, they press the handle bar down to the side they wish to turn to, Little man has a muscle tone issue with his legs so this is an added bonus as to much exercise can cause him much pain in his legs, although we do encourage him as much as possible so it can help him build up.
There are many plus points to the Maxi
- The footplate is wider than most
- It has 2 wheels at the front
- The plate is lower to the ground than most
- Height adjustable handlebars
- Many accessories are available from the website
- Finally and I love this, when they have grown out it send it back to Micro Scooters and they will refurbish it and send it a child who wouldn’t normally get a chance, Scooter-Aid

Helping Children with disabilities also by
- Helping the co-ordination
- Helping confidence by enabling them to join in with peers
- Helping to build muscles slowly as not to cause pain in the long term
Finally a very short video for your amusement, taken by little man (only about 6 secs…lol..)
A lovely post! And how wonderful of them to send the refurbished scooters to those who couldn’t afford them otherwise
Glad I’m not the only one that’s been slow on my review!! Lara loves hers too, they’re fab! Love the video too
I never knew they did these, its a great idea
